UAG IMPACT

UAG cares deeply about the people and communities with which we build and interact – we are intentional and compassionate in how we give back to create a more inclusive New York. We constantly seek new partnerships to evolve our industry, activate our local neighborhoods, and support and strengthen our city.

We seek to create a synergy between our projects and our communities through our UAG Impacts Neighborhood Initiative. Our commitment includes attending community board meetings to share the impact of our work, providing a list of local vendors and setting up accounts to support small businesses, and hiring a local workforce consultant to facilitate the training and hiring of subcontractors within our community. Our goal is to enhance the experience for all, encouraging collaboration and instilling a sense of pride.

Our commitment extends beyond our projects. We’ve been and continue to be active members and advocates for two organizations close to our hearts: St. Mary’s Hospital for Children cares for children battling cancer, and Safe Horizons shelters, guides, and supports victims of violence and threatening home environments. Additionally, we’ve recently joined the Junior Board of Breaking Ground, a non-profit that provides high-quality permanent and transitional housing for the homeless in New York.

Of course, we are mindful of the fact that there is always more we can do, and we continuously push ourselves to effect change in new ways.

Victory Plaza has officially opened in Central Harlem. The nine-story, 136-unit development with 100 percent affordable housing for seniors is located at 11 West 118th Street.

Developers Secure $349M For Bronx Point Affordable Housing Complex, In The South Bronx

L+M Development Partners, Type A Projects, BronxWorks, and the City of New York have closed on $349 million financing package to complete phase one of Bronx Point, a new mixed-use affordable housing complex in the South Bronx. As a public-private partnership, the financing entities include the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, the New York City Housing Development Corporation, Empire State Development, Wells Fargo, and additional private funding sources.
